Heading to China

This week, our adoption agency called to say, "Pack your bags!" We are leaving for China on September 12th to adopt Victoria Elyse! We are very excited to be going to China so soon to meet our new little daughter. Christian is coming with us and can hardly wait to meet her baby sister!

Heart Surgery

Our little girl has a heart defect which will require surgery when she gets home. Please pray that God will heal her little heart. If Victoria were to remain in China, she would probably not get the surgery she needs. Without it, she would probably not live many years. I am so thankful that we will be able to adopt her and that she will be able to get the surgery so that she can lead a long and healthy life!

Victoria Elyse

We have finally decided on a name for our baby - Victoria Elyse! We received the LOA (letter of acceptance)on August 1st. This means we might be traveling to China the second week in September, but won't know the exact date for about 2 weeks.
